The 2016 EWGA Championship

St. Louis Chapter1st Stage Qualifier

Join us for the 2016 St. Louis Chapter Championship where EWGA members of all skill levels have the opportunity to compete against other members who share the same playing ability. Whether you are a seasoned golfer or new to the game, the EWGA Championship provides a venue to experience competitive golf among friends and in the spirit of fun.

Cost: EWGA Championship Entry Fee: $50.00*

  Chapter Tournament Fee: $50.00
Total Player Fee: $ 100.00

Player Fee Includes: EWGA entry fee covers costs associated with running a National, multi-level Championship event, golf, cart, range balls, goody bag.

Details of the Play Formats

18 holes of by-the-rules stroke play. Competitors compete in one of 5 flights based on current handicap index. 1st Low Gross (actual number of strokes) and 1st Low Net (strokes minus course handicap) are eligible to advance to the Semi-Final Tournament.

Scramble Teams: Have 3 friends who qualify? Form a scramble team and compete. The Chapter can send one scramble team to the Semi-Finals.

Why should you register and play in the 2016 Chapter Championship Tournament?

  1. It’s Fun!

  2. It’s going to be at a course we know very well.

  3. We have worked to make it affordable.

  4. If you win low gross or low net in your flight, you qualify to advance to the Semi-Final Tournament – and this year the Semi-Finals are in St. Louis!

What do you need to do to qualify for the tournament?

  1. Must be a woman (…darn!)

  2. Must be a current member of EWGA

  3. Must have a handicap index through EWGA or GHIN

  4. Need to have played and recorded scores for at least two 18-hole rounds (or 9-hole equivalents) before June 1.

  5. Need to go to the EWGA website and register.


Dont want to compete, but still want to be a part of the daythere will be a recreational part of the tournament as well. Cost is $50 and coordinated through the Chapterdo not go to the EWGA website to register for the recreational outing.
