Welcome Eastern Midwest District Qualifiers to St. Louis.........
Home to the St. Louis Cardinals, the Arch, Toasted Ravioli,
and the St. Louis Chapter!!!
Saint Louis EWGA Chapter extends a "hot and humid" St. Louis welcome to the EWGA National Championship Committee representatives and to the qualifying EWGA golfers from our sister chapters to the Eastern Midwest District Semi-Final Championship that will be held at Stonewolf Golf Club on Saturday, August 7. For consistency purposes, details regarding the Eastern Midwest District Championship are located on the EWGA National website.
Our chapter is extremely excited to be hosting one of the fifteen district championships held in August - September time frame as a qualifying round for our Eastern Midwest District chapters. Chapter representation will include Tri-Cities of Northeast TN, Memphis TN, Greater Knoxville TN, and Middle TN, Central Arkansas, Louisville KY, and Huntsville AL. We look forward to meeting our sister golfers and competing against you on a course that is considered one of the hardest courses for women in the St. Louis area. Don't let the posted course / slope rating on the golf course website or even on GolfNet (GN21) fool you. Our members swear these ratings are wrong, too low. Good luck!
Stonewolf Golf Club is located in Fairview Heights Illinois, 1 mile north of I-64, on IL-159 and is approximately 13 miles east of downtown St. Louis Missouri. There are a number of hotels, variety of restaurants, a major shopping mall, grocery stores, as well as a major EWGA sponsor (Golf Galaxy) located near the junction of I-64 and IL-159, very convenient and everything you will need for your stay. Restaurants include Applebees, O'Charlies, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, and LottaWatta Creek (which is a favorite of several St. Louis EWGA members) just to name a few. We've also contacted four (4) hotels for nightly rates for your stay.
